Registration Information Beginning fall 2006, students are required to register no later than one week prior to the class start date, to ensure sufficient time for the instructor and CPE to prepare course materials. Registrations received within one week of the class start date will be subject to a $50.00 late registration fee. For Certificate in Professional Investigation Program: Please be advised that under Massachusetts law, MGL c.147 section 25, a license to engage in the business of private detective shall not be granted to any person who has been convicted of a felony in any state of the United States. Similar laws apply in many other states. Massachusetts law further provides, under MGL c. 147 section 23, that no person shall engage in, advertise or hold himself out as being engaged in, nor solicit private detective business, unless licensed for such purpose as provided in section 25. Withdrawal Information Classroom Programs: For the Classroom Facilities Management, Financial Planning, Interpreter, Publishing and Real Estate Certificate Programs Only: To withdraw officially a signed and dated letter of withdrawal must be received by the program office. Ceasing to attend classes or notifying your instructor that you are withdrawing does not constitute official withdrawal. You are eligible for a full refund of your tuition up until 5:00pm on the day of the second class meeting. There are no refunds given after the second class meeting. For the Classroom Fundraising, Paralegal, and Professional Investigation Certificate Programs Only: To withdraw officially a signed and dated letter must be received 10 days prior to seminar or program start date by the program manager. Ceasing to attend classes or notifying your instructor that you are withdrawing does not constitute official withdrawal. Withdrawals less than 10 days before start date will be charged a 25% fee. A substitute may be sent in your place, if you advise us in advance. Credit card payment refunds must be credited to the same credit card. Withdrawals made on the day of the program, or failure to make withdrawals or substitutions, are subject to no refund. Online Programs: For the Online CMA Exam Preparation Program Only: To withdraw officially a signed and dated letter of withdrawal must be received by the program office. Ceasing to attend classes or notifying your course facilitator that you are withdrawing does not constitute official withdrawal. You are eligible for a full refund of your tuition up until 5:00pm on the third day of access to the actual course content. There are no refunds given after this time.
