Registration for the Boston University Online Program for Financial Planners is done online at any time and involves the following steps:

1. You will access a separate registration site managed by Boston University and Boston Institute of Finance.
2. You will make payment for the program or course online with a credit card.
3. The required textbooks that accompany the web-based program can be purchased online.
4. Once you have registered and paid for the program online, you will receive an electronic confirmation.
5. You can then access the program the very same day.
6. You are allowed unlimited access within your term of access to take and pass the course-level exams.
7. You can access an electronic confirmation for your records, including a grade letter, upon successful completion of each course.

   Boston University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and marks. CFP® certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements.
